1 day ago · I remember someone at work a few years ago saying they'd never heard Europe's 'Final Countdown', so I played it to them and they laughed at the synth intro. The synth sound of the very early 80's though seems to have retro appeal amongst the kids. Very influential on Ladyhawke's first album, which is basically her homage to early 80's pop music.
