Last 'year' I received a letter in the mail, which, iirc, told me to meet someone either in the town square or by the barracks sometime after 7pm - but I have not been able to trigger the event by doing this.
May 8, 2023 · The Lantern Festival at John Ball Zoo is amazing! The Lantern Festival at John Ball Zoo was such a great experience and absolutely worth the price! If you go slow it takes about 1-1½ hours. I'd recommend the 9:00pm entry slot since it's just getting dark but not too cold yet and allows for enough time to see and do everything.
