I've read some opinions that she was an untalented Lauren Bacall knock-off (as if Bronx Betty were some master thespian), but I just watched her in "Too Late for Tears" and thought she was quite good. I've read mixed reviews on "Dead Reckoning" where she co-starred with Bogart, but I think that will be my next watch. Offsite Link.
Oct 26, 2022 · Lunch with Lizabeth (Scott) a Memoir by Todd Hughes. This just came out. A gay guy in LA is obsessed with her for years and finally meets her and develops a friendship over 20 years. I give it four stars. Anyone who is a noir fan is going to like it. There are a lot of sub themes.
Jun 3, 2023 · Between about 1990 and 2010, I used to frequently see Scott at Kate Mantilini at lunch time in Beverly Hills. She was a friend of my parents and was always friendly when she saw me. People recognized her and she was gracious and generous in speaking with them. Lizabeth Scott was a classy lady, unlike rude and crude Lauren Bacall.

Those are indeed two great performances in "The Three Musketeers" and "Serial Mom," but neither of those films qualify as film noir. Serial Mom, everyone’s favorite film noir.

Dec 17, 2019 · An episode of "Bracken's World" features her as the ex-wife of a murdered man whose widow (Lizabeth Scott) is a non-grieving whore. Paul Lynde is very campy in it being dramatic, and Zsa Zsa Gabor spends her time in it wearing a French maid's outfit carrying a feather duster. I love Scott and Astor in "Desert Fury".

GENE KELLY - A gay smugness about him. MAUREEN O'HARA - There's something very butch about her mannerisms IMO. Gorgeous lady with delicate features but butch.
