The spec sheet on Fender's website is terribly wrong on the Pino bass...it even says it has a quartersawn neck.

Jan 6, 2009. #2. Pino uses Thomastik-Infeld flatwound strings on his P-Bass - that'll get you in the ballpark immediately. He's mentioned in interviews that he usually keeps the volume on his P all the way up and turns the tone knob almost all the way down. Basszillatron.
Oct 29, 2012 · Here's a challenge: In the above video I'm pretty sure the pedal at the rightmost side of pino's pedalboard (from his perspective) is an octaver with both octave up and down functions (I've extrapolated that bc he has an octave up sound in the beginning of the video and the only other pedals on his board are the discombobulator and the OC2).
