Document of the Dead is a 1981 documentary film by American filmmaker Roy Frumkes that was largely shot during the production of the 1978 film Dawn of the Dead. Originally a 66-minute feature, it has since been expanded two times, first to 85 minutes in 1989, then to 102 minutes in 2012.

Mar 22, 2009 · I’ve known Roy Frumkes for many years. I remember when he wrote a novel at the age of nine. It wasn’t the best novel I’ve ever read, but it was right up there with “Gravity’s Rainbow,” and “La Recherche Du Temps Perdu.”

DUNE review by Roy Frumkes I’m putting this one up a little late in its theatrical/home-delivery life to give it a fighting chance to initially play itself out. Not that bad-mouthing the film in Films in Review could realistically damage its flow of dough.
