Jessi is much louder and forward, which makes it easier to have fun and relax a bit. Sunmi is a bit softer and warmer, which makes it easier to open up and chill.

Mar 25, 2022 · I think Jessi has gotten surprisingly more obedient haha and in a way more restricted, and that sort of makes Showterview more like a stereotypical idol variety show, which in turn makes it more meh and forgettable. (And don't rely too much on Jungshik please, as much as I enjoy his presence.)
Apr 29, 2022 · Jungshik's story about his wife holy shit. Jesus that montage of guests, she really got so many heavy hitters in variety, acting, music and all. This show has been a blast, and I'm gonna miss Jessi, Jungshik, the PDs and the Showterview team. It's been a fun two years for such a refreshing take on the talk show.
But I think she is an above average host and is doing a good job. She just lacks a spicy personality that I associate with "Showterview" because of Jessi. Jessi also nailed going from being spicy/racy to maternally empathetic with a warm heart to giving mentor like advice to making everyone laugh. That range is something Sunmi fundamentally lacks.
Jul 2, 2020 · Jessi is American-born so it makes sense that she speaks English well. She lived in the US until she was 15. I believe she said she didn't really start speaking Korean until she was like 19-20 and her early music was all through memorizing the pronunciation.
