The Evil Dead Evil Dead Rise Evil Dead Army of Darkness It feels wrong to rank AoD last, because I love that film, but compared to the others it sways too far into comedy, as great as it is. In terms of Ash V The Evil Dead, I haven't watched the whole series, so couldn't say for sure, but from what I have seen it would be sold mid table.

Evil Dead: The Game was enormously disappointing. Everything but the game mechanics themselves are top notch, but the Battle Royale and Asymmetrical PvP elements didn't work and cheapened it all. From Day One it was built for grinding that it couldn't sustain. The game would have been better off as a simple hack-and-slasher in comparison.

The 2013 film was so much more extreme with the horror and gore but yeah, the Deadites had no personality at all, they were just shrieking monsters most of the time. Now rise wasn't as vicious with the gore but I found it a more fun ride and a big part of that was down to seeing the Deadites having their twisted fun.

Jul 16, 2023 · Evil Dead Rise is a decent looking, great sounding and surprisingly good horror movie. It's set up for a sequel and just like the Spider-verse movies it should do well after more people have watched it on streaming. UMAR 3:16 said: I have no interest in extras, the sole reason for buying 4K UHD is the AV quality!
May 30, 2022 · The original Evil Dead and the 2013 remake are actually not comedies. The comedy starts in the sequel, Evil Dead II, and carries on into the third film, Army of Darkness, and Ash vs The Evil Dead which is a 3 season series.
