  1. May 14, 2020 · It's both. Tosin has no fucking clue how to portray a character with dyspraxia, and it's clear the writers have little knowledge as well. I'll take one scene, when in Praxus they're on the rubbish heap cliff. Ryan would likely fall down it if he had dyspraxia as bad as he constantly says he does.

  2. Nov 27, 2018 · I like Tosin Cole in the role. Clearly the writers have decided that Ryan wasn't going to be a joke-machine or super excited about everything, and I'm absolutely fine with it. Graham is sassy enough for the whole gang, and the Doctor also has enthusiasm to spare.

  3. Aug 20, 2021 · Tosin Cole is, in my opinion, one of the worst Doctor Who actors ever. Discussion. The biggest turn off I had while watching Series 11 and 12 was the acting of Tosin Cole as Ryan Sinclair. Aside from the terrible writing overall, Jodie and Bradley managed to elevate it with their good performances, and then there was Tosin who didn't even try.

  9. Nov 30, 2020 · I generally found Cole's performances kinda stilted, even though he's likable in the part. But it is wild that Chibnall decided to make the decision to cast a woman as the Doctor for the first time in the show's history, and then proceeded to give all of the character work and emotional stakes to the companions and not her in her debut series.

  10. Mar 2, 2020 · Tosin, most likely because he's doing that show in the US. But Bradley's CV has him listed as doing Series 13. Also, this is the Mirror so the likelihood of this being 100% accurate is slim.
