The University of Bedfordshire is a public research university with campuses in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, England. The University has roots in further and higher education from 1882: it gained university status in 1993 as the University of Luton.
About University of Bedfordshire. Previously Luton College of Higher Education, with roots dating back to Luton Modern School, founded in 1908, the University of Bedfordshire has been known by its current name since the University of Luton and De Montfort University’s Bedford campus merged in 2006.
