Internally, the motherboard has the processor and the GPU soldered onto it. So if the laptop didn't come with a discrete GPU out of the box, in order to get a discrete GPU onto the motherboard, you're going to have to ditch/replace the entire board, which is near same as buying a brand new laptop.

Feb 17, 2021 · The reason i prefer a gaming laptop is because most if not all of them have really good graphic cards integrated, they are powerful, the battery last for hours, and it’s really hard for them to overheat. I find those 4 things really important. (1. Color accuracy, 2. graphic card, 3. battery life, 4. cooling system)
Apr 25, 2020 · Prices vary by country, so a laptop that costs $800 in the USA might cost the equivalent of $1000 in a different country, for instance. You're not going to find a gaming laptop for ~$500 even in the USA though. Something with an entry level gaming graphics card like a GTX 1650 would maybe start from ~$800 or more.

Mar 26, 2020 · Consider a custom laptop - which is what Eluktronics are, except there are a lot of other makers in the UK e.g. Cyberpower, Scan 3XS, and PC Specialist. The Mech 17 is, as far as I know, a Tongfan chassis which those others also offer.
Oct 4, 2021 · If possible twice a week. Yeah, try and have the laptop powered up until you can drain the battery, although it will go into sleep mode if there's no sign of input. As for the charging procedure, always try and discharge to 10% and then plug in charger to get it to 100%, that way the battery stays healthy.
