Nov 4, 2019 · I have permanently delete (also clear recently deleted folder) all my unused files from iCloud drive and now it consumes less than 60 MB icloud storage. But, when I check my iPhone's storage (in Settings> iPhone storage) , iCloud drive still shows about 1.64 GB (says my recently accessed files are downloaded to this device for quick access).
Jan 7, 2024 · iCloud drive when active slows finder and occasionally free I have had this problem with HighSierra starting this year so I upgraded to Catalina and the problem remains. When the iCloud Drive is activated finder works really slooooooow. moving a document in the finder window takes ages same with folders as well.

Apr 7, 2021 · I'm trying to transfer more than 1000 photos at a time from iCloud to external hard drive. iCloud only let's you do 1000 at a time and I have close to 8000, my wife has 30,000 photos. Even when we try to select 1000 photos, it downloads to a HEIC file, not JPEG. Or the ZIP gets corrupted. How can I download all the photos to an ext. drive at once?

Aug 16, 2016 · The above solution is assuming you are using the iCloud tools (the iCloud Drive folder in Finder) to search iCloud Drive, not the web browser tool. In Windows, this would be the iCloud for Windows application and using File Explorer to search the synced iCloud Drive folder. From the web browser, there really isn't a search option.

Open “Drive App”, start to play your video and stream it with Airplay to your Apple TV. That’s it. Hope Apple will still provide a native AppleTV app for this sometimes.
Jul 26, 2016 · I have iCloud drive on my windows PC. Is there any way to "force" the PC to synch the files in the local icloud directory up to the cloud. I'm having trouble synching files from on Windows PC to another. It doesn't seem like the files in the cloud are refreshing in a timely manner, and there's no way to snow upload status.
