Bought a 2019 Mazda 6 2.5 NA with 115,000km on the clock. Great condition, full Mazda service history and everything works. I just came from a silky smooth Toyota V6 (2GR-FE) with close to 300,000km and finding it hard to get use to the engine and gearbox. When revving it out a bit past 3000rpm, the engine seems gravelly and harsh?
It does have Mazda Connect. But the firmware is old as hell. I feel like I used Mazda Tweaks (?) a few years ago to sideload android auto onto my 2016.5 CX-5, and remember having some kind of roadblock doing the same for the 2014 Mazda 3.
Aug 10, 2016 · decorama. •. I in my third Mazda ('97 626, '07 Mazda6, and now a '16 Mazda6). They are just as reliable as Honda or Toyota and continue to improve every year. The only universal complaints I've heard about the '16 Mazda 6's are that A) the coating on the wheels of the GT version tend to peel.
Right now that is the 2021 Mazda 6 and a 2021 Mazda MX-5 RF. The Mazda 6 replaced a WRX that was my sports car, and the MX-5 replaced an Audi S4 Avant that was my family car for more than 20 years. Other cars I paired with the S4 included an Audi TT 225, a Mercedes SLK320 with a 6-spd stick (rare in US), and a Nissan 370Z.
Oct 21, 2020 · It usually happens under 40,000 miles so most cars where it would have happened have probably been dealt with by now but just in case you find a car with that sound avoid it unless it's still is under a warranty. Oct 20, 2020 · The interior of the 6 is typically more luxurious and more feature rich in creature comforts good for commuting. The 6 has a larger gas tank, but gets lower rated mpg than the 3. The 3 is smaller, sportier, firmer, and more capable to drive and maneuver quickly. Where it might lack in creature comforts it makes up in driving dynamics and value.
Jan 11, 2022 · They could compete with the Accord and Camry right now if they want. A lot of people think the new Accord is ugly and the Camry's design is aging. Camry's interior is also very cheap. If you bring that new upscale interior with a better infotainment system with more space than the 2021 Mazda 6, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Feb 11, 2023 · The 6 handles very well, but the 3 feels like a fighter jet compared to the 6. Steering is heavier, turn-in is sharper and suspension feels much more taut and braking is immediate. The lighter weight and shorter wheelbase make a difference, but it seems to be tuned differently from the factory.
