Welcome to National Star. Our charity is a provider of specialist further education, training, personal development and residential services for people with physical and learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries.
National Star is an exciting and ‘Good’ (Ofsted 2023) independent specialist college for disabled students. There is no such thing as a ‘typical’ National Star student. Most are between 16 and 25-years old and have a range of physical and learning disabilities.

The National Star College (previously known as the Star Centre) is an independent specialist further education college for people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and associated learning difficulties.
We have a broad range of students at our Ullenwood, Cheltenham campus and have created three programmes of learning. These maximise the outcomes that can be achieved by our students, regardless of their disabilities. There is no such thing as a ‘typical’ National Star student.
National Star are specialists working with young students with disabilities and learning difficulties, enabling them to achieve their aspirations in life. This includes young people with very complex needs and those who aspire to get a job.
