3 days ago · Verdict. Overall, Absolute Power #1 is a decent comic. The art is great and Waid has some good moments. He’s trying really hard to make this a big event with some startling moments. However, there’s nothing behind them that is interesting enough. DC’s events have struggled for a while, and so far this seems no different.
