Born a short walk away from Goodison Park, Jonjoe Kenny joined Everton’s Academy at the age of nine. His versatility and composure on the ball saw him deployed at full-back, centre-back and in central midfield, progressing through the ranks.
Jun 14, 2022 · The 25-year-old English defender signs a contract until 2025 with the Bundesliga club, having played for Everton and Celtic. He has experience in both the Premier League and the Bundesliga, and won the U20 World Cup with England.
Kenny remained as a member of the Senior side for a further eight years – accumulating another 68 appearances – before his departure for Hertha Berlin in the summer of 2022 after his Everton contract expired.
