In the first book of the series, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, Pip—along with Ravi Singh—is one of the very few people in Little Kilton (Fairview, US version) who believes, and is greatly determined to prove, that Salil (Sal) Singh is not the one who killed Andie Bell.
