Tony Zarrindast (Persian: محمد زریندست also known as Mohammad Zarrindast) was an Iranian American film producer, film director and cinema actor. He was considered by some [who?] as the "Persian Ed Wood". His 1996 film Werewolf was featured on an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Tony Zarindast was born in 1934 in Tabriz, Iran. He was a director and writer, known for Cat in the Cage (1978), The Guns and the Fury (1982) and Hardcase and Fist (1989). He died on 29 November 2016 in Tehran, Iran.
