Warrior is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 1982. Best known for their 1985 debut album, Fighting for the Earth , the band has released a total of four studio albums. Guitarist and co-founder Joe Floyd is the only Warrior member to appear on every album.
Years active: 1982-1983 (as Fury ), 1983-1987, 1991-present. Some of the members had a band called Cold Fire from 1987-1990, which featured 2 ex- Wrathborne members. They eventually recruited a pre- Megadeth Nick Menza on drums.

Fighting for the Earth is the debut album by American heavy metal band Warrior. It was originally released in 1985 and was re-issued by Metal Blade in 1991 (North America), Toshiba-EMI in 1993 (Japan) as part of the Burrn! Legendary Masters series, and by NL Distribution in 2008 (Europe).
