Hugh Stoddart has written the screenplays for many successful films both for TV and cinema. He has adapted novels such as To the Lighthouse, We Think the World of You and The Mill on the Floss. His original work has included Remembrance, The Big Battalions and most recently Waiting for You, starring Colin Morgan and Fanny Ardant.

Hugh Stoddart has had a long career as a screenwriter. His first feature-length original screenplay Remembrance was shortlisted for an Evening Standard award and won grand prize at the Taormina Film Festival.
Hugh Stoddart has written the screenplays for many successful films both for TV and cinema. He has adapted novels such as TO THE LIGHTHOUSE, WE THINK THE WORLD OF YOU and THE MILL ON THE FLOSS. His original work has included REMEMBRANCE, THE BIG BATTALIONS, also his new film WAITING FOR YOU.
