The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman is a gig in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

V witnesses local residents mourning of Jason Foreman in a dirty courtyard in Longshore Stacks. Mr. Hands instructed them to speak to Briana, the client. Briana explains that one the Stacks' younger residents, Jason Foreman, has recently been killed by a BARGHEST super killer, Leon Rinder.

V has to use their scanner to investigate the clues around the courtyard, mostly holes in the wall splashed with blood, massive footprints in the mud, a box of fired bullets and a fallen failsafe on the roof of a nearby container.

Then Briana gives V a encrypted shard to read. A hacking puzzle unlocks it. A convo between Jason and Slava Makarov, a scavenger, leads V to a former motel in Pacifica, Los Osos. Jason was indeed an intermediary between a man supplying top-tier Militech chrome and the scavengers.

V can investigate new clues in the former motel - now a scavengers' hideout - to learn more about Rinder's actions. Rinder himself is locked in a room on third floor and is guarded by a heavily chromed scavenger. V finds out that most of Rinder's chrome has been sold to scavengers by Rinder himself and already taken out.

Completing the Investigate the area. [Optional] objective unlocks the dialog option "Whatever I did"? Let em enlighten you. when V confronts Rinder.

It appears that one of Slava Makarov's suggestions pushed Jason into agressively demanding a bigger share to the supplier, Leon Rinder, which may have contributed to his death by leading the latter into cyberpsychosis.

•It is possible to spare Rinder to get the Addicted To Chaos quest, but then kill him immediately afterwards to get his dogtags.

•If V chooses to let Rinder live, Briana will find out and berate them the next time they enter the Stacks.
