Lim Suat Yen is a University of Wisconsin graduate with a post-graduate degree in Film from New York University. Over 26 years, she has directed a variety of works, including Road Less Travelled (1997), I Only Care for You (1990), and the award-winning Mama Ku Sayang (2019).
In 2021, Yen embarked on her debut foray in the horror genre and directed the tele-drama "Dinner Date" in the "After Dark" series as well as "The Lying Theory" and "Pre-Loved Daughter" in the Viddsee short series.
