Jason Lei Rose is the voice actor for James Ironwood in RWBY. Formerly a model abroad in Asia, Rose is now a producer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. He was a long time friend of the show's creator, Monty Oum, and had often expressed his desire to work with the filmmaker.
