Júlíus Kemp (born 2 December 1967) is an Icelandic film director and producer. [1] Biography. Júlíus Kemp studied film-making at the West Surrey College of Art & Design in the UK. His short film "Happy Birthday" (16mm/bw) was made at WSCAD/London in 1991.
He was a co-founder of the Icelandic Film Company in 1991 and co-wrote and directed his first feature film, _Veggfóður erótísk ástarsaga (1992)_, a box office hit the same year, produced by Fridriksson and Kemp. He was director of The Reykjavík Intl. Short Film Festival from 1993 to 2000. Film critic from 1993-1994.
