Robert Bridge Richardson, ASC (born August 27, 1955) is an American cinematographer. Known for his trademark aggressively bright highlight as well as shapeshifting style, he is one of three living persons who has won the Academy Award for Best Cinematography three times, the others being Vittorio Storaro and Emmanuel Lubezki .
Robert George Richardson (January 3, 1928 – December 5, 2005) was an American fashion photographer. Richardson was born in Brooklyn to an Irish Catholic family. Originally a graphic designer in New York City, Richardson did not pick up a camera until age 35.
Robert Richardson is a three-time Oscar-winning cinematographer who has worked with directors like Oliver Stone, Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino. He has shot films such as JFK, The Aviator, Kill Bill, Inglourious Basterds and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
