Der FC Zürich (abgekürzt FCZ) ist ein Fussballverein aus Zürich. Er wurde am 1. August 1896 von ehemaligen Mitgliedern des FC Excelsior und des FC Turicum gegründet [2] und ist einer der ältesten Sportvereine der Schweiz. Die Vereinsfarben sind seit 1909 die Zürcher Stadtfarben Blau und Weiss.
