We have lost a member of our community, jewelry designer and NJAL Black Sheep, Mario Salvucci. I first met Mario at the inaugural NJAL Origin Fair in Italy. Myself, and Jules Kim of Bijules both remember the first moment we saw him.

Mario Salvucci. Born in Foligno, Italy, Mario Salvucci designed jewelry for more than 30 years, first in Italy and then in the United States. His continual investigation into new materials led him to expand his creative practice into fabrics and interior design.
