Harry Revel (né Glaser; 21 December 1905 – 3 November 1958) was a British-born American composer, mostly of musical theatre, working with various lyricists, notably Mack Gordon. He is also seen as a pioneer of " space age pop ".

Composer Harry Revel was born in London, England on December 21, 1905. After graduating from the Guild Hall of Music in London, he joined the Paris Hawaiian Band, touring throughout Europe. Before immigrating to the United States in 1929, Revel wrote musicals for productions in Paris, Copenhagen, Vienna and London.
"There's a Lull in My Life" is a 1937 song, written by Mack Gordon and Harry Revel for the film Wake Up and Live. A "torch ballad", it was released in 1937 as a single and became Alice Faye's only major hit record.
