Peter Duncan Fraser Lord CBE (born 4 November 1953) is an English animator, director, producer and co-founder of the Academy Award-winning Aardman Animations studio, an animation firm best known for its clay-animated films and shorts, particularly those featuring plasticine duo Wallace and Gromit.
Peter Lord is Co-Founder and Creative Director of Aardman. He co-founded the studio with his long-time collaborator, David Sproxton, in 1972. As a director, Lord has been honoured with two Academy Award ® nominations for Best Animated Short, the first in 1992 for Adam, and for Wat’s Pig in 1996, and Best Animated Feature for Pirates!
Peter Lord is a British animator and filmmaker who co-founded Aardman Animations with David Sproxton. He has directed and produced several acclaimed animated films, such as Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and Shaun the Sheep Movie.
