Warwick Gilbert is a Sydney-born artist who worked in animation and graphic design. He is also a former bass player in Radio Birdman and a finalist in the Archibald Prize.
PROFESSIONAL musician, film director, artist and animator, Warwick Gilbert has worn more than a few creative hats during his career. Music lovers of the 1970s will recognise his name as the former bass player for Sydney seminal band Radio Birdman.
Born in 1950, Warwick Gilbert is a native of Sydney, Australia and worked in the animation industry as a director, animator and storyboard artist for such companies as Burbank Films, Hanna Barbera and Walt Disney from 1968 to 2006.

Since they disbanded he has continued to record and tour, both as a solo artist and with the band Tex, Don and Charlie.
