Anders Erik Gillik Eljas. Profile: Swedish pianist, composer, arranger, and orchestra leader. Born 15 January 1953 in Stockholm, Sweden. He studied at Kungliga Musikhögskolan I Stockholm. He toured with Björn Skifs and ABBA, during the 1970s and 1980s.
Anders Eljas, 32, did not hesitate very long when Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus asked him to write the arrangements for the album of Chess and the stage show. He trained as a teacher of music at the College of Music in Stockholm with the piano as his principal instrument and the violin as his second.
