William Blezard (10 March 1921 in Padiham, Lancashire – 2 March 2003 in Barnes, London) was a talented pianist and composer who was musical director to Noël Coward, Marlene Dietrich and Joyce Grenfell.
William Blezard, was best known as piano accompanist for such leading stage figures as Joyce Grenfell, Marlene Dietrich and Honor Blackman. He was also a composer of note, particularly of theatre and film music.

A number of William Blezard’s best are amongst them. The characteristics of Blezard’s music are difficult to define. He is not a ‘light’ music composer in the vein of Eric Coates or Robert Farnon. He does not compose for the mass market: he would not be at home on ‘Friday Night is Music Night.’.
