Paul Hepker (born in Harare, Zimbabwe on 17 December 1967) is a South African composer, musical director, pianist, best known for composing the score (with Mark Kilian) for the film Tsotsi, which won the Academy Award for Foreign Language Film at the 78th Academy Awards in 2005.
Paul also co-composed the music for Tsotsi (which won the 2005 Academy Award for Best Foreign Film), Eye In The Sky (starring Helen Mirren, Alan Rickman) and Rendition (starring Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Meryl Streep).

Mark Kilian Paul Hepker Tsotsi (Presley Chweneyagae) is a young kid and a gang leader in the outskirts of Johannesburg, who kills for money and who’s life has no meaning beyond survival. His mother died of Aids, his father left him, and he views Joburg, the only world he knows, as a hunting ground.
