Hideaki Anno (庵野秀明, Anno Hideaki?, Born on 22 May 1960) is the chief director of Neon Genesis Evangelion, The End of Evangelion, Rebuild of Evangelion. Anno is the creator of the Evangelion story, and wrote or co-wrote the script for every episode of the TV series (except for Episode 04).
