[1] HRF organizes the Oslo Freedom Forum. The Human Rights Foundation was founded in 2005 by Thor Halvorssen Mendoza, a Venezuelan film producer and human rights advocate.
Advocating for pro-equality political candidates and issues, including lobbying Ohio's Congressional delegation and state legislature, campaigning for HRC-endorsed candidates, and raising awareness of political issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community.
The UDHR is a milestone document in the history of human rights, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1948. It sets out fundamental human rights to be universally protected and has inspired many human rights treaties and instruments.
