Biography. John started his career at the BBC working as an assistant editor on 'Tinker,Tailor,Soldier,Spy' and 'Smiley's People' adapted by Arthur Hopcraft; then as an editor on 'Oranges are not the only fruit' by Jeanette Winterson and Al Hunter's 'The Firm' directed by Alan Clarke.
