Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released several titles to home video since 1978, as well as direct-to-video features. They have been released on VHS, Beta, Laserdisc, CED Videodisc, CD Video, DVD, Universal Media Disc (UMD), Blu-ray Disc and 4K UHD Disc. These are most of the notable releases that Disney put out on home video.
This page will focus exclusively on Disney-branded releases unless noted. Releases under other labels (eg, Touchstone, Hollywood, Buena Vista) will be shown on their own page.

The first 13 titles were put for rental when Disney was working with Fotomat to get into the video business. These titles were later made for sale along with rental in October 1980.

Only 7 titles were in Wrapped and Ready to Give Promotion starting in October 1984. We had 3 DTV titles, and 3 Christmas titles, and plus Winnie the Pooh and Friends.

Walt Disney Classics was a brand from 1984 to 1994 to release most of the 15 animated feature films to video.
From 1987 to 1992, the series was revived with shorter videos in cardboard slipcover cases.
