Erik Skjoldbjærg (born December 14, 1964) is a Norwegian director and writer best known for co-writing and directing the films Insomnia and Narvik. His film Pioneer was selected to be screened in the Special Presentation section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.
Insomnia was the film debut of director Erik Skjoldbjærg. The screenplay was written by Nikolaj Frobenius and Skjoldbjærg, and the soundtrack by Geir Jenssen. The film inspired the 2002 American remake Insomnia.
Prozac Nation is a 2001 psychological drama film directed by Erik Skjoldbjærg, starring Christina Ricci, Jason Biggs, Anne Heche, Michelle Williams, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Jessica Lange.
