The School of Visual Arts New York City (SVA NYC) is a private for-profit art school in New York City. It was founded in 1947 and is a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design.
Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. During the summer months, we are closed on Fridays; summer hours begin on Friday, June 3 and continue through Friday, August 12. Costs and fees for all undergraduate and graduate students for the current and previous academic year.
Students specialising in Visual Arts will acquire knowledge, understanding, and technical abilities in a range of mediums, forms, and expressions. They will be able to create artworks ranging from drawing and painting, to ceramics and sculptures.
The English and the Visual Arts Program is a three-semester program that begins in the summer. The program offers intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) study during the summer and combines ESL and BFA studio coursework for the fall and spring semesters.
Character development through visual and performing arts. By actively involving students in artistic exposure, artistic creation, and artistic outreach, our LLP forms a core component of the school’s co-curriculum.

The visual arts is an intrinsic part of Singapore’s culture and heritage. It contributes to diverse expressions and interactions in society. The work of artists, curators, arts centres, researchers and museums presents and documents our visual arts to promote a sense of pride and identity.
Beginning in 2016, it is Singapore’s first arts academy for seniors. Since the opening of our new centre at Tampines in February 2018, we are now offering a variety of exciting courses and learning opportunities in music, visual arts, creative arts and new arts for the young and young-at-heart.
Kid's Arts and Craft allow individuals to acquire skills and develop an understanding of aesthetics through a range of techniques and processes in drawing, painting, 3D art, mixed media, printmaking and Chinese ink painting Art Appreciation is also an integral part of programme curriculum.
