JOHN CURRAN. DIRECTOR - THE PAINTED VEIL. After attending Syracuse University on an art scholarship, John Curran worked as an illustrator and graphic designer in New York. In 1986 he moved to Sydney, Australia to work for Ogilvy & Mather. In 1990, Curran formed Pod Films in Sydney and began directing commercials, music videos, and short films.
