French Director. At the age of 16, he enrolled in Blanche Salan's class in Paris which taught the Lee Strasberg acting method. At 20, he went to New York where he lived for three years, taking classes at the Herbert Bergoff Studio and discovering European cinema at the Bleecker Street cinema.
