Alexander Morfov is one of Ion Caramitru’s brightest ideas. Inviting this director – enriching, captivating, interesting and charismatic, – to the stage of the National Theatre [of Romania] has introduced even more colour, energy and dynamics to the repertory.
He has numerous successful projects in Europe – France, Sweden, Macedonia, Romania, Latvia, and in the recent years in Israel. He is currently working at the Ion Luca Caragiale National Theatre, Bucharest, Romania, staging The Tempest by William Shakespeare. Morfov is also a cinema director and scriptwriter.
