Music in a Doll's House was released in July 1968 and charted at number 35 in the UK to critical acclaim, thanks to strong support from BBC Radio 1's John Peel. Now widely acknowledged as a classic of British psychedelic rock , it showcased many of the stylistic and production features that are archetypal of the genre.
