A Chord Too Far is a box set from the English keyboardist Tony Banks, released on 31 July 2015 on Cherry Red Records. The set includes tracks from each album from his solo career, spanning from 1979 to 2012. The image on the cover is taken from Philémon et le piano sauvage, a graphic novel by Fred.

Tony Banks, the solo artist, creates rock music, pop music and even classical music. Now, a gorgeous 4-CD box set has been released, with a hardcover book stuffed with amazing interviews with the musician.
Many of us may approach the Tony Banks solo canon with preconceived prejudice and while I'd happily argue that the output from all the other ex-Genesis members has more to say and a longer lasting impact, A Chord Too Far goes some way to redressing the balance.
