It’s being produced by Prague-based Marlene Film Production, who also produced Holland’s previous film Charlatan, which was the Czech Republic’s official submission to the 2021 Academy Awards.

Company Marlene Film Production was founded in 2013 and its first movie made was Storyteller (Pohadkar) by Vladimír Michálek. The most successful project of the company has been Jirí Strach’s fairy tale Angel of the Lord 2, the biggest hit at the Czech box office in 2016.
