John Farbrother is an editor whose work has aired on Discovery, History Channel, National Geographic, and CNBC. John’s first feature documentary, Siskel/Jacobs’ Louder Than a Bomb, won the 2011 Humanitas Prize and garnered a total of 17 film festival prizes, 10 of them audience awards.
John Farbrother has edited several SJP documentaries, including Louder Than a Bomb, Head On, and No Small Matter (with Miranda Yousef). John recently co-edited the Emmy-winning and Academy Award-nominated PBS Frontline documentary Abacus: Small Enough to Jail .
John Farbrother is known for Finding Yingying (2020), Hidden Letters (2022) and The Here Now Project (2024).
