芥川 也寸志 （あくたがわ やすし、 1925年 （ 大正 14年） 7月12日 - 1989年 （ 平成 元年） 1月31日 ）は、 日本 の 作曲家 、 指揮者 。 JASRAC 元理事長。 作風. 芥川也寸志の作風は大きく分けて3つに分かれる。 東京音楽学校を卒業後、快活な旋律とリズムで彩られた作風が魅力の第1期。 それらの要素を削ぎ落とし、減衰、静的な要素を取り入れた前衛的作風に転換した第2期。 そして第1期の快活明朗なるリズムを用いつつも、第2期以来の作風とクロスオーバーさせ、新たな世界への転換を図った第3期。 この区分においても共通するものに、彼自身の生涯のテーマとなる オスティナート の使用がある。
