A U.S. court ruled that the vehicle cannot be copyrighted as IP, allowing anyone to build and name their own Eleanor Mustang.

Denice Shakarian Halicki is a producer, director, actress and writer of the Gone in 60 Seconds franchise. She was married to H.B. Halicki, the creator of the original film, until his death in 1989.
