Christopher Charles Stephens (born 20 March 1973) is a Scottish National Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Glasgow South West since 2015. He has been serving as SNP Spokesperson for Justice and Immigration since September 2023.
U.S. Foreign Service. Stevens joined the United States Foreign Service in 1991. His early overseas assignments included: deputy principal officer and political section chief in Jerusalem, political officer in Damascus, consular/political officer in Cairo, and consular/economic officer in Riyadh.
Chris Stephens is the current MP for the Glasgow South West Constituency, elected in 2015. Chris was then re-elected in June 2017.

Born in 1973, Chris Stephens was born in Glasgow and was educated at Trinity High School in Renfrew. He was a councillor on Glasgow City Council before being elected to Parliament. A former leading activist with the trade union, Unison, Stephens is secretary of the SNP Trade Union Group.
Chris Stephens is a Scottish National Party MP for the Glasgow South West Constituency, having first been elected to the Westminster Parliament in 2015, then re-elected in June 2017 and again in December 2019.
