In 1997, Northey wrote the entrance music for Bret Hart after he joined WCW. After the breakup of Odds in 1999, Northey embarked on several other ventures, including working with Colin James, Rosanne Cash, Glen Phillips, Bruce McCulloch and many others. He released a solo CD entitled Giddy Up.
Mar 18, 2022 · Northey’s 2001 debut solo album, Giddy Up, is EP adjacent, with its 8 songs adding up to just under 29 minutes. It was all fresh to me here in 2022 as I had not heard of it before a few weeks ago, and it certainly marches to a different drum than Odds had.
