  6. Dec 14, 2014 · Dave Pirner. A 1993 interview includes Chris saying that Dave asked Chris to give him guitar lessons, so we know their relationship dates at least that far back. In 1996, Dave joined Chris and Warren Zevon on “Powder Keg” for a Rainer Ptacek tribute album (more info here).
